I was privileged to receive an invitation to show my art work at the Colorado State capitol, Denver, Colorado during the National western Livestock show in Jan. 2009. The week went very fast. I displayed my work on the first floor rotunda of the Colorado state capitol building. The attendance was great . It was a very busy week. A special thank you goes out to all the employees of the capitol building and to Colorado state representitive Wes McKinley for the invitation. Representitive Mckinley and his "side-kick" cowboy Billy Whitfield entertained everyone with their cowboy music. Special thanks to the men of the Colorado Highway patrol for their watchful eye of safty and their great attitude. I can't say enough for Sue Worley for her help and assistance. It was a very fun time!!

2008 NCBA convention Reno, Nevada
In 2008, I was again issued the invitation, from Walco International Inc., to attend the NCBA and sign prints . The original on rawhide( seen to the left) was the piece I selected to be reproduced. My thanks go out the Mrs. Dee Milgosa of Lamar, Colorado for allowing me to use the original for printing. Dee Melgosa bought the original art from me in 2001. 2000 prints were signed as promotional gifts given to Walco customers at this years convention. I had a great time. It was good to be back with my old friends once again. I'll have to say I did have writers cramps after signing all those prints. It was almost non-stop signing for three days. I guess I did my job well. I've been ask to attend the NCBA convention in Phoenix in Janruary of 2009 and work again for my old friends at Walco.
